I am a PhD candidate at Indiana University, writing my dissertation on Moretto da Brescia's images of female spirituality and how these works, through a variety of allusions drawn from earlier paintings, supported the mission of a local women's religious group, the Company of St. Ursula. My other professional interests include explorations of Italian Renaissance art history and contemporary theory, as well as new pedagogies for engaging students online and through technology.
